Brzuz, FACHE, Administrator The Erie Shriners Hospital for Children is a 30-bed pediatric orthopaedic hospital providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to children at no charge. The hospital is one of 22 Shriners Hospitals throughout North America. Nearly 9,000 children are treated annually in Erie. Some of the most commonly treated problems include scoliosis, spina bifida, metabolic bone disease, hand and hip disorders, gait abnormalities and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. The Erie hospital accepts and treats children with routine and complex orthopaedic problems, utilizing the latest treatments and technology available in pediatric orthopaedics, resulting in early ambulation and reduced length of stay. Proceeds from the second annual Roar on the Shore™ bike rally this summer will go to the Erie Shriners Hospital for Children and in honor of that, Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott will be in attendance to present a proclamation declaring official Erie Bike Nights during the rally, July 17 – 20. We look forward to seeing you for breakfast! Registration: 7:45 a.m. For more information, please contact Tracy Shepard at 814/833-3200 or 800/815-2660. |
