Presenter: John A. Onorato, Esq., SPHR
Attorney Onorato is vice president/general counsel at the Manufacturers’ Association. Previously, he was an assistant professor of business administration at Gannon University where he taught Human Resource Management. He also served as Erie County solicitor and chief of staff for state Senator Jane Earll. Onorato earned his bachelor’s degree andMBA from Gannon University and is a graduate of the Dickinson School of Law.

The Job Descriptions course is part of the HR Essential Certification Series. Other courses include Interviewing and Hiring, Compensation Programs, Recordkeeping and Terminations. Certification requires completion of all five courses within a 12-month period. All courses are offered at least twice a year.
