Assessment

Prior to beginning a process-improvement project, conducting an operational assessment is recommended. During a one- to three-day site assessment, the Manufacturer’s Association’s Lean Operations service specialists investigate each part of the business and how it supports the ability to achieve desired business results through various process-improvement tools. The company’s operations, computer systems, financials, leadership and culture are analyzed.

Following this analysis, the specialists complete an assessment report and provide an in-depth review with the management team. The assessment report contains the following information:
