Affirmative Action PlansIs Your Affirmative Action Plan Audit-ReadyAccording to regulations by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), all government contractors (or subcontractors) with 50 or more employees and contracts of $50,000 or more must have a current Affirmative Action Plan in place. Each year, the OFCCP audits in excess of 5,000 plans. If the OFCCP finds that your company's plan is not up to standard or does not exist, you can be disqualified from receiving or bidding on federal contracts. Developing and maintaining an Affirmative Action Plan is intimidating for most organizations. The Manufacturer's Association's Human Resource Services Division can save you time, money and frustration by working with you to develop or update an accurate, defensible Affirmative Action Plan and provide ongoing assistance should your plan be selected for audit. For more information, call the HR Services Division at 814/833-3200 or 800/815-2660, or submit the form below. Please send more information on your Affirmative Action Plan service to: |
