Professional Development TrainingMy people need training but I cannot send them off-site for classes. Can you come to my facility?Absolutely. As long as there is an adequate training venue available, we are happy to conduct the training at your location for four or more of your employees. I want to start and complete the Supervisory Skills Program but the program has already started. Do I have to wait until next year to begin? No. The courses have been designed to stand alone. They can be taken in any sequence without loss of continuity. On-site training sounds good but isn't it much more expensive? No. In most cases, the charges for on-site training are the same as our public offerings. We have sent our people to training classes in the past that turned out to be nothing more than boring lectures taught by trainers with little credibility. What makes you different? Our trainers have "real world" experience. They are former supervisors who can relate to the day-to-day problems experienced by today's managers. The classes are highly interactive, and we encourage questions and comments from all participants. My company and our problems are unique. Can you customize your programs to address company-specific concerns?Yes. We understand that not all industries share the same problems. We will be happy to meet with you to discuss your particular situation. We have some specific training needs but are so busy that we cannot spare someone for an eight-hour class. What are my options? We have one-, two- and three-hour programs available on a wide variety of subjects that were designed just for people in your situation. How can I determine my company's specific training needs? Our training and human resource professionals can meet with your management team to determine the types of programs best suited for your organization. Do I have to be a member of the Manufacturer's Association to participate in training classes? No. Many non-member companies take advantage of our training; however, member companies enjoy a discounted rate.
