Community InvolvementWhen does your Annual Meeting take place?The Manufacturer's Association of Northwest Pennsylvania's annual meeting takes place each year during the month of June. What is the John Tramontano Jr. Education Foundation?The John Tramontano Jr. Education Foundation is a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) education trust established to give parents an opportunity to send their children to a school of their choice. Applications are submitted and randomly selected. Currently, a total of 10 scholarships are awarded. The value of the scholarship is ½ of the child's tuition to a maximum of $1,000. In order to receive the scholarship, the child must be entering grades K-8 and must attend a private or parochial school. The child may also choose to attend a public school outside of their school district. For more information, contact Renee York at 814/833-3200. Where can I obtain an application to apply for a scholarship?Currently applications are not available. If you are interested, your name can be placed on a mailing list to receive information about obtaining a scholarship application when they become available. An application must be completed for each child entering grades K-8. If one of my children receives a scholarship, will my other children automatically receive a scholarship?No. The scholarships are selected by a random drawing. |
