Five Tips for More Effective Meetings
1.Set key objectives. This will not only help you stay on track, but you will have a concrete measure against which you can evaluate your meeting.
2. Prepare an agenda. The most important thing you can do with your agenda – follow it!
3. Ask for help. If you give participants a task, the meeting will take on new significance to each group member.
4. Assign action items. Don’t finish any discussion in the meeting without deciding how to act on it and who will act on it.
5. Examine meeting results. Assess what took place during your meeting and note plans for improvement.
